Gulf Region Sales Growth

Introduction

Apex Technologies GmbH is an engineering company specializing in high-pressure laboratory equipment for petroleum and chemical research. They are also expanding into supercritical CO₂ oil-essence extraction systems.

Problem

Despite strong technical expertise, the company had limited international reach. They needed a way to identify target universities in oil-rich regions, communicate complex specifications, and close high-value equipment sales abroad.

My Solution

I first joined Apex in 2015, redesigning their core holder for porosity equipment—now a company standard. In 2020, I returned as Marketing & Sales Manager to lead exports to the Gulf region. Leveraging my petroleum and mechanical engineering background, I identified research-active universities, engaged faculty in technical discussions, and managed the full sales process from outreach to delivery and training.

Results

Within one year, I delivered two full sets of petroleum lab equipment to Gulf-region universities, boosting revenue and establishing Apex Technologies in a key international market.
